A riviera over the rubble

Countries bordering Palestine cannot remain indifferent to the fate of a country under aggression, as any action in this territory has repercussions on the immediate neighborhood. The aggression originates from the desire not only to conquer territories within Palestine but also to prolong the occupation of parts of other countries, such as the Golan Heights. In essence, it is the entire reconfiguration of the Middle East region that is targeted. The preferred tool for this is the war waged by Zionists. To counter this unjust practice, the strategy developed by national liberation movements would be effective if supported by the international community, starting with the lack of firm action from the United Nations. Condemnatory resolutions have had no more effect than a poultice on a wooden leg. Instead, war reappears after a few weeks of calm following a ceasefire that did not last due to the aggressor's appetites. If the aggressor does not withdraw its forces from Gaza, it is because it has the complicity of several parties interested in weakening the entire Middle East region. Forces are divided into several allegiances, making it easier to evade the application of international law, particularly in occupied Palestinian territories, where the Zionist entity openly disregards the law. No coalition has been able to adopt the path of progress for the sake of peace. The United Nations and the Security Council implement a selective application of the law. No serious effort is made to protect Palestinian rights. The massacre of populations increasingly distances the hope of ending suffering and building a just and lasting peace. Palestinians pay dearly for their aspiration to freedom and sovereignty, with thousands of victims in full view of the international community, which looks on with commiseration toward Eastern Europe, even as international organizations denounce the blockade of humanitarian aid, the massacre of children and women—massacres that Algeria ceaselessly condemns. There is no solution to stop this carnage. Palestinians are constantly asked to make concessions within the framework of odious blackmail, stating that if they do not consent to concessions to the enemy, their situation cannot be improved. Can a Riviera be created on the ruins of Gaza?
