The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, presented the Algerian Football Cup trophy to the captain of CR Belouizdad, Sofiane Bouchar, at the end of the final won by the Chabab against Mouloudia Club d'Alger (MCA) by the score of 1 to 0 at the Stade du 5-Juillet this Friday evening.
The President of the Republic also presented medals of honor to the players and technical staff of the two finalist clubs.
He also honored the match referees and signed footballs for each of them.
CR Belouizdad won the 57th edition of the Algerian Cup by beating MC Alger 1-0, a goal scored by defender Keddad (42nd), who headed in Benayada's corner kick.
With this triumph, CRB become the most successful club in the Algerian Cup with nine trophies.
The Chabab thus succeed ASO Chlef as Algerian Cup holders in 2023.
