
The Olympic Complex "Miloud Hadefi" in Oran is preparing to host its second international competition since its inauguration on the occasion of the 19th edition of the Mediterranean Games (JM) concluded last Wednesday, and this, by hosting the 5th Arab Swimming Championship, the Algerian Federation of this discipline said Sunday.
This international event, which also involves open water swimming, is scheduled from 20 to 24 July, according to the same source.
This competition comes after a few days of the end of the swimming events of the WD described as a "great success" by the President of the FAN, Mohamed Hakim Boughadou, who was, for the occasion, the delegate of the International Swimming Federation.
"A heavy responsibility on the organizational level that I ensured and assumed positively with my collaborators. Also, on the technical level a more than positive result for our national selection with 4 medals (1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronzes) and 16 finals", he had declared at the end of the WD, greeting in passing the athletes and their various technical and medical staffs.
