The Independent National Elections Authority (ANIE) has begun receiving applications for accreditation from the national and foreign press permanently accredited in Algeria, in anticipation of the September 7 presidential election, said a statement from the Ministry of Communication on Monday.
The operation to receive applications from the national and foreign press permanently accredited in Algeria will continue until Sunday August 18, 2024, the same source said.
Those wishing to cover this event are invited to download the election application form from the Ministry of Communication website at www.ministerecommunication.gov.dz.
The application form must include a copy of the applicant's biometric national identity card or passport and a request for a mission order to cover the elections (for the national press).
National media must include with their applications a list of the names of journalists and technicians to be accredited, bearing the institution's stamp and the signature of the person directly responsible.
Complete applications must be submitted to the Ministry of Communication or sent to the following e-mail address: (d.media@ministerecommunication.gov.dz).
