Algeria has “strongly” condemned the military attacks carried out by the Zionist entity against the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressing its solidarity with the Iranians following this “odious” aggression in “flagrant violation” of the United Nations Charter, said Saturday a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad.
“Algeria strongly condemns and firmly denounces the military attacks carried out once again by the Israeli occupation army against the Islamic Republic of Iran, while expressing its solidarity with the brothers in Iran following this odious aggression, which constitutes a shameless attack on the sovereignty of their country and a flagrant violation of the United Nations Charter and the principles of international law,” reads the statement.
Algeria also recalled “the responsibility incumbent on the international community to curb the Israeli occupation and halt its multi-faceted and all-out escalation in the Middle East, a region plunged by this occupation into an infinite spiral of insecurity and instability”, according to the communiqué.
