"I am very pleased with my meeting with the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, whose long experience, advice and political foresight continue to benefit us," said Najla Al-Mangoush at the end of the hearing, adding that his visit to Algeria "took place in order to support the efforts of the Libyan Government of National Unity (GNA) and achieve fair and legitimate elections".
It added in this way that "President Tebboune affirmed his commitment and the commitment of the Government of Algeria as a brother country, to support the efforts of this Government and to reach soon fair elections with God’s help, being the only solution for the Libyan people, to achieve stability".
The Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs also stressed that this meeting also addressed several issues "of interest" to the two brother countries, as well as "a discussion on the importance of Libya’s stability, being a stability for the region and for all Arab countries".
