A state without a people

The repeated offensives by the Zionist entity in the Gaza Strip, targeting civilians, shock global opinion, with ongoing calls for a ceasefire to save human lives. The international community’s efforts to end this genocidal war and save Gaza’s residents reflect the unprecedented scale of destruction caused by the occupying army’s aggression. Beyond mere statistics, Palestine’s human fabric is unraveling, risking a state without a population. The need for countries to pressure the Zionist entity to halt the carnage in Gaza is undeniable. Deadly bombings continuously escalate the toll of barbaric attacks. Palestinian health authorities report that even hospitals remain targets of the occupation forces. Residents face dire humanitarian conditions, with hunger and lack of medical care fueling despair, as food and humanitarian aid are weaponized. International organizations repeatedly revise the disaster’s toll upward, yet no one initiates robust action to stop the bloodshed. However, the international community has moral and legal means to assume its responsibilities and apply pressure to achieve this goal. Other urgencies include preventing the cynical plan to displace the Palestinian people from their land. These guarantees require an immediate end to the Zionist aggression and violations exacerbating civilian suffering, enabling unhindered delivery of urgent humanitarian aid. Yet, the aggressor daily dims hopes for peace, deepening global concern. Even UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expressed alarm over plans to expand aggressions. Associations have urged states to halt arms deliveries and plead for an urgent end to the genocide and ethnic cleansing. The International Court of Justice and states have a duty to take measures to uphold international law.
