Boukhari: the President of the Republic instructs that exporters' concerns must be swiftly resolved

The President of the Republic, Mr Abdelmadjid Tebboune, delivered firm instructions at a meeting on exports that he chaired on Sunday, to ensure that the concerns of exporters were rapidly addressed, according to the Minister for Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, Mr Mohamed Boukhari.

In a statement to the press at the headquarters of the President of the Republic at the end of the meeting, Mr Boukhari said that ‘this important meeting provided an opportunity to learn about the projects of economic operators and to listen to their export-related concerns’.

During the meeting, the President of the Republic gave ‘firm instructions to ensure that all concerns are dealt with quickly, thoroughly and effectively, and to draw up a new strategic vision aimed at making our country a center of excellence for exports’, added the Minister, underlining his department's commitment to taking the necessary measures to achieve this supreme objective.

The meeting was attended by the Director of Cabinet at the Presidency of the Republic, members of the government, business leaders and a delegation from the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA), led by its President.
