The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, presided over the opening ceremony of the National Cinema Conference at the “Abdelatif Rahal” International Conference Center (CIC) in Algiers on Sunday.
After the opening ceremony, the President of the Republic watched a documentary film on the history of culture and cinema in Algeria.
The conference will be attended by a wide range of 7th art professionals, who will be discussing and exchanging ideas and visions for developing the film industry and strengthening its capacity to have a positive impact on social and cultural issues.
The two-day event is part of an integrated strategy to develop the film industry and open up new investment horizons in this field.
