The National Delegate for the Protection and Promotion of Children, Meriem Chorfi, visited yesterday, our stand at SILA. During this visit, a presentation was made by the CEO of El Moudjahid on the various editorial products and projects underway, particularly in the digital field. In the era of information technology and communication no media can do without the virtual world that captures more and more young people. Meriem Chorfi has expressed a real interest in the participation of our newspaper at the Fair both on paper and through social networks, Facebook, tweeter and our YouTube channel.
Our team conducts daily interviews with national and foreign writers, publishers and representatives of both Algerian and foreign institutions. These filmed meetings are broadcast on our website and also visible in the form of Qr code accompanying the article in its paper version. A demonstration was made to the National Delegate in our edition of March 28 and to Cristina Mussinelli, consultant of the association of Italian publishers. Every day of SILA (and even beyond) we offer our readers the opportunity to switch from paper to the virtual world. Thus, El Moudjahid newspaper of reference, achieves the feat of making the link between its historical roots and the planetary wings that allows, from now on, technology. No one can ignore this reality that seduces and captures the youth, also, Meriem Chorfi launched an appeal to register in this new world, to train to be better armed against the flows, some malicious, information. Meriem Chorfi, marked her satisfaction with this presentation and expressed her wish that El Moudjahid devotes a page to children who are the future of Algeria. During the exchange with the director of the newspaper, she stressed that Algeria has ratified the International Convention for the Protection of the Rights of the Child (CRC) adopted by the UN General Assembly on 20 November 1989.
A salutary reminder that comes as a clarification to the report of the representation of the UN organization in Algeria, UNICEF. "All specialized international organizations attest to the undeniable efforts of Algeria in terms of protection and promotion of children's rights" had reacted Meriem Chorfi.
